In a latest interview, Hegde expressed her pride in the upcoming film *Retro*, starring Suriya. At this time, she has not publicly addressed the controversy. Pooja mentioned that her role in *Retro* happened after director Karthik Subbaraj was impressed with her moving performance in Prabhas’ *Radhe Shyam*. I cherish every aspect of the film—the way we filmed it and brought it to life. “I am proud of all my films, but *Retro* stands out as the one I am most passionate about. The energy on set was amazing, and my character is carefully crafted. In this film, Suriya portrays a gangster who sacrifices everything for the woman he loves. With its release set for May 1, expectations are high for *Retro* to deliver success for both Suriya and Hegde.
