The film, set to be released in both Kannada and Telugu, has had its Telugu distribution rights taken by MVR Krishna, famous for his previous venture, Vedha, who is known for his projects, like Vedha, which starred Shivarajkumar. The narrative, centered around a father’s unwavering affection for his daughter, brings an intriguing layer to the plot. The Telugu trailer has received positive attention, particularly for Prajwal Devaraj’s striking transformation for the role. The film promises a suspenseful experience, amplified by Nobin Paul’s and Lohith H’s vision, blending elements of time-loop and horror. The talented cast includes Arun Rathod, Sridhar, Gautham, Somashekhar, and Vihan Krishna, with a music composition by Nobin Paul and cinematography by Jaibin P. Producer MVR Krishna expressed his optimism in the film’s ability to thrill viewers, recognizing the supportive nature of the Telugu cinema audience towards compelling content. Rakshasa is set for a grand release under the banners of Kanchi Kamakshi Studios and Kolkata Kaali Creations. Talented Kannada actor Prajwal Devaraj, known for his powerful performances in Kannada cinema, is all set to captivate audiences with his upcoming film, Rakshasa, scheduled for release on the 26th of February in celebration of Shivaratri.
